Many Christians Are Poor Because They Were Taught This Lie. Hear This and Deliver Yourself!

It is crucial for every believer to understand the truth about money and prosperity according to scripture. Many Christians remain poor because they have been misled by a misunderstanding of a well-known scripture: “The love of money is the root of all evil.” Let me explain this clearly.
The Bible does not say money is the root of evil. The subject in that scripture is evil itself. Whenever you trace the root of evil deeds—robbery, murder, deceit—you will find the love of money behind it. The issue is not money but the power that money gives. People desire money because of the access and influence it grants, which leads some to commit evil acts for it.
For example, compare a man who legitimately earns money and buys expensive things with a man who breaks into a store to steal jewelry. The love of money exists in the latter who pursues what money can give by committing evil. But if a Christian works hard and is blessed without evil, there is no love of money in the sense the scripture warns about.
God is not against your material blessings. Psalm 84:11 says, “No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.” In Matthew 6:31-33, Jesus acknowledges that we need food, drink, and clothing. God is not in denial about these needs; He knows you require money to obtain these necessities.
The difference between Christians and the world is not the absence of material needs but the priority placed on God over material things. Seek first the kingdom of God, and all these things (which include money) will be added to you. When you see others prosper or sow seed into ministries, do not call it love of money or carnality. These are good things when pursued righteously.
I ask myself and every believer: do I love money enough to commit evil? If not, then desiring and needing money is not wrong. Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart—including financial blessings. It’s not wrong to desire a good car or a comfortable life.
Jesus is glorified in heaven where riches exist. If riches are bad, why do we expect them in heaven but reject them on earth? Apostle Paul embraced prosperity as part of his ministry, which helped spread the gospel worldwide.
Persecution and hardship are not caused by seeking God’s blessings but by godless rulers dominating the land. As believers, we pray for peace and prosper in God’s timing and purpose.
Stop the false teachings that equate money with evil. Understand God’s word clearly: having money and being prosperous is part of God’s provision for His children walking in faith and righteousness.
